Silly Song

This is a silly song that my friend and I made up on the way home from a homeschool band we do.

Silly Song #1

Coca-cola went to town

Dr. Pepper shot him down

Pepsi-cola fixed him up

Now we all drink 7-Up

7-Up got the flu

Now we all drink Mountain Dew

Mountain Dew climbed a mountain

Now we all drink from the fountain

Water, water has no taste

Now we all drink Gatorade

Gatorade fell off the gate

Now we all drink Lemonade

Lemonade is so sour

Now we drink at Happy Hour (Sonic special)

Happy Hour is full of fools

Now we all drink Red Bull (energy drink)

Red Bull lost it power

I shouldn’t be tellin’, but we drank Ellen

Ellen, Ellen has a lisp

Now we all drink Mrs. Smith

Mrs. Smith fell asleep

Now we’re all singin’ Jesus Take the Wheel

The end is not a lie

But we died

Part 3

If you have not read Part 1 and Part 2, you need to before reading this.

As Hailke’s family huddled in the cellar, many thoughts swam through Hailke’s mind.  “What would happen to his family?” “Had the tornado hit yet?” It seemed like hours until Pa opened the heavy door. Still huddled in the corner, everybody watched as Pa trudged up the steps. What would he see? Pa’s sigh sounded like an icy wind. They all knew that life would begin again. They couldn’t ignore, forget, or shun it, so they slowly made their way up the stairs. When they saw the ruin, Ma stared crying. “What’s wrong mommy?” asked Reenade. There was no answer. Everybody was too stunned. “What was the surprise?” asked Hailke. Everybody turned to look at him as Pa put his hand on his shoulder. “Next year son, next year.”

Part 1

The heavy door led into a narrow stairwell with slippery steps. The smooth walls were made of cold cement that was covered in black dirt. Hailke had never been afraid of his family’s cellar, but right now was different. Reenade, Hailke’s younger sister was in tears. Hailke ran down the steps, trying not to slip. When he reach to the bottom step he grabbed Reenade and stumbled to the south-west corner of the cellar. It was the safest place to be.

My Thoughts on Legos

Today when I was doing school this thought popped into my head, and I could not stop from writing it down.

Wasn’t it just yesterday in Colorado that I was playing with duplos with my brother and sisters? No, that was seven years ago. Legos have gone from from just block, to duplo, to computer programed legos. Could this be a threat to this world? Somebody could program legos so they would build themselves into a lego person. They would find other legos and turn them into more people. Legos could take over the world!! People would have to be servants of these horrible lego monsters. Could this really happen, or is it my imagination running away with me?
