I was making cookies the other day. I had five left to bake, so I put them in the oven and set the timer. My mom decided that she needed to clean the top of the oven while it was hot, she got her rag out and wiped every thing down. When the timer beeped, I opened the oven to see dark brown smoking cookies! My mom had accidentally turned it up to 500 degrees while she was washing the oven!

Today I made up some smoothies, and I thought you might want the recipe.

Spring Smoothies
1 apple

1 orange

1 pear

A couple  scoops of vanilla ice cream

2 1/4 cups milk

1 package  cherry jello

About 1 1/2 cups crushed ice

Cut apple, orange, and pear into small pieces. Blend all ingredient until mixed well.

Enjoy!!!!!

Today I made some chocolate chip cookies. I rarely ever bake so I was surprised when my cookie turned out good.

Here is the recipe that I used.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

(Yield: 4 dozen)
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1 cup butter, softened

1 cup sugar

1 cup light brown sugar, packed

2 tsp vanilla

2 large eggs

2 cups chocolate chips

Heat oven to 375° F

Stir flour with baking soda and salt; set aside

In a large mixer bowl, beat butter, sugar and brown sugar at medium speed until creamy

Add vanilla and eggs, one at a time, mix on low speed until incorated

Gradually blend dry mixtures into creamed mixture

Stir in chocolate chips

Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheet

Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden browm

This fall my dad grew some radishes and I love radishes. Do you? I think radishes are the best tasting vegetable there is.
